Anne Maneno is the Managing Director of Jiteng and Anne Associates. She possesses an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management in Tanzania. She holds a Masters degree in Finance (MSc. Finance) from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and Certified Public Accountant (FCPA (T)). She is a member in good standing terms with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania for over ten years.
Experience
She has a treasury of experience in Financial Management, Audit and Risk Management for more than 12 years. Her passion for accounting and auditing is a unique advantage that the Firm has. Her understanding of accounting and audit standards (i.e. IFRS & ISA), Tax, Auditing, Risk, and Financial Management provides the Firm with the competitive advantage in areas of specialization.
The role
Managing partner will lead the core audit team day to day and be responsible for the supervision and coordination, including the planning and execution of the audit focusing on the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit. She is responsible for sign-off of the audit opinions and making decisions regarding significant accounting and reporting issues; assessing reasonableness of significant accounting judgments made by the client.
She will oversee the engagement management role ensuring that the audit process is executed seamlessly, reporting deadlines are met, and audit issues are timely resolved with management and the Audit Committee.
She will be assisted by Senior Manager and Manager on mobilization for assignments, communication with the clients on expectations and reports, reviewing and assessing compliance to applicable accounting framework, and ensure that all key deadlines are met.
Menance is a with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania as an Associate CPA in Public Practice. He holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration (Finance and Banking) from the Mzumbe University of ‘Tanzania and an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management in Tanzania.
Menance is currently Partner of JITENG and ANNE ASSOCIATES (a firm specialized in the provision of tax, audit, advisory and accounting services) Menance is a highly analytical and meticulous Auditor with over 12 years of experience in conducting internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Proven ability to identify financial discrepancies and recommend effective controls. Committed to maintaining highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. He is expert in audit procedures and regulatory compliance.
Mafuru is an Active member with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania as an Associate CPA in Public Practice. He holds a Master of Science in Finance (Msc Finance) from the University of Strathclyde UK and an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management in Tanzania (IFM), CPA T (NBAA) and Cert in Project Management – Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands.
